SL announces All-Star lineups
North and South Division starters selected by managers

MARIETTA, Ga. -- The Southern League of Professional Baseball Clubs has announced the starting lineups and pitchers for the North and South Divisions for the 2012 Southern League All-Star Game, which is scheduled for June 19 at Smokies Park in Kodak, Tenn.

The starting assignments for the North Division were chosen by Tennessee Smokies manager Buddy Bailey, who will also manage the squad.

The 2012 North Division All-Star starting lineup and pitcher are as follows:

CF - Denny Almonte, Jackson Generals
LF - Jared Mitchell, Birmingham Barons
SS - Nick Franklin, Jackson Generals
1B - Hunter Morris, Huntsville Stars
C - Jesus Sucre, Jackson Generals
DH - Justin Bour, Tennessee Smokies
3B - Pedro Baez, Chattanooga Lookouts
RF - Blake Smith, Chattanooga Lookouts
2B - Scooter Gennett, Huntsville Stars
SP - Danny Hultzen, Jackson Generals

In addition, two revisions have been made to the North Division roster.
Chattanooga Lookouts righ thanded pitchers Steven Ames and Red Patterson have been named to replace Huntsville's Evan Anundsen and Jackson's Bobby LaFromboise, respectively. Anundsen was placed on the disabled list effective June 11, and LaFromboise has been promoted to Triple-A Tacoma.

The South Division starting assignments were chosen by Mobile BayBears manager Turner Ward, who will also manage the squad.

The 2012 South Division All-Star starting lineup and pitcher are as follows:

CF - Ryan LaMarre, Pensacola Blue Wahoos
2B - David Nick, Mobile BayBears
3B - Matt Davidson, Mobile BayBears
1B - Marc Krauss, Mobile BayBears
RF - Alfredo Marte, Mobile BayBears
DH - Kyeong Kang, Montgomery Biscuits
LF - Todd Cunningham, Mississippi Braves
C - Kyle Skipworth, Jacksonville Suns
SS - Didi Gregorius, Pensacola Blue Wahoos
SP - Tyler Skaggs, Mobile BayBears
